What Derma Fillers?

Dermal fillers or soft tissue fillers are natural solutions that are used in a nonsurgical way to restore lost volume to the face by addressing drooping, creased, or hollow areas.  They allow the client to rejuvenate and replenish the skin, providing an ageless look.

How do fillers work?

A natural occurring substance called hyaluronic acid in the skin binds with water to hydrate the skin.  This keeps the skin looking plump and healthy, but sunlight and the aging process diminishes the amount of hyaluronic acid in your skin.  Derma Fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid and are applied to troubled areas to bring back the vitality of the skin.

How long do fillers last?

Each client’s skin responds differently to the procedure, but typically the effects last six to 12 months.  With clients coming from time to time for touch ups.

Is there any downtime?

Reactions to the procedure vary, but generally the reactions are similar.  Usually there is minor swelling and bruising around the injection points, but this dissipates quickly
